Adolescent & Adult Dog Training Packages – Serving Rockland County, NY

At Paw Pals, we proudly offer 4-week Training Programs for adolescent and adult dogs aged 3 months and older in Nanuet, Pearl River, and Blauvelt. Designed for your convenience, these programs pair your dog with a certified trainer for one-on-one sessions during daycare hours. For those not utilizing daycare, private training sessions with owners present are also available (details below).

Program Highlights:

Tailored Training Levels: Most dogs will begin at Obedience Foundations, advancing to higher levels as they master essential skills. Your dog's starting level will be determined during a personalized evaluation by our trainer.
Convenient Scheduling: Dogs enrolled in the program must attend at least two days per week, ensuring consistent progress.
Homework for Continued Success: To maximize the program's benefits, our trainer will provide weekly at-home exercises. Just 15 minutes a day can set your dog up for lasting success.

Initial Consultation

Prior to starting any training program, a consultation with our trainer must be performed. This consultation will evaluate your dog’s skill set to determine which Level your dog will begin at and allow you and the trainer to discuss training goals. This consultation will take approximately 30 minutes and costs $35.

Maintenance Private Training Sessions

Maintenance training sessions are for those who have gone through at least 1-6 week training programs with Paw Pals and would like to maintain their obedience training. Maintenance dog training sessions are designed to reinforce and maintain the skills your dog has already learned. After your dog has mastered basic commands and good behavior, these sessions focus on keeping those skills sharp over time. They help prevent your dog from forgetting or regressing in their training, ensuring that they continue to perform behaviors reliable in different environments and situations.

Behavioral Modification Training

Our Behavioral Modification services are designed to help dogs overcome complex challenges like leash and barrier reactivity, resource guarding, and dog-to-dog aggression.
